Science for a Sustainable Future
Advancing Ocean, Climate, Environment & Community Resilience in Bangladesh
Bridging advanced remote sensing, spatial mapping, and oceanographic research with local youth leadership to protect the Bay of Bengal, the Sundarbans, and vulnerable coastal communities.
Who We Are
Nirmol Bangladesh is a science-driven research and development organization dedicated to advancing oceanography, climate science, environmental sustainability, GIS and remote sensing, disaster resilience, and youth capacity building for a sustainable Bangladesh.
Founded in 2017 to aid flood-affected coastal groups, we have evolved into a premier institute fostering ecological stewardship. Our flagship centers, like the Center for Climate Studies and Disaster Resilience (CCSDR) and the OceanBlue Science Institute, conduct field campaigns to bridge academic knowledge with local action.
