Nishat Ferdous Anika is an aspiring oceanographer with a strong academic background and a passion for addressing environmental challenges. With a commitment to hard work and innovation, she has dedicated her career to exploring sustainable solutions for coastal and marine systems. She holds an MS in Oceanography from the University of Dhaka, achieving a remarkable CGPA of 3.93, and a BSc in Oceanography from the same institution with a CGPA of 3.70.
Her research interests include marine spatial planning, vulnerability assessments, and coastal resilience, with a focus on integrating scientific knowledge into actionable solutions. Nishat has also contributed to field expeditions, including the prestigious “Bay of Bengal Expedition – II,” collaborating with the Bangladesh Navy and the University of Dhaka.
In her professional journey, she has completed an internship at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Service (CEGIS), contributing to climate change and disaster management initiatives.
