Arpita Saha is an emerging oceanographer with a passion for understanding marine ecosystems and addressing environmental challenges. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Oceanography at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh, building on a strong academic foundation from her Bachelor’s degree in the same field. Arpita has already demonstrated her commitment to impactful research, focusing on phytoplankton dynamics, environmental health analysis, and sustainable solutions for heavy metal pollution using marine bio-resources.

Her research is supported by prestigious recognitions such as the National Science and Technology Fellowship (NST) and the Dean's Scholarship. In addition to her academic pursuits, Arpita serves as a Research Assistant at the Coastal Oceanography Research Team, where she contributes to field data collection, laboratory analysis, and mentoring juniors in scientific methods. She also actively participates in international seminars and is engaged in volunteer activities, reflecting her dedication to scientific community building.

With expertise in laboratory techniques, field data collection instruments, and software tools like ArcGIS and Matlab, Arpita continues to make strides in oceanographic research and innovation. Her vision is to contribute to the sustainable management of marine resources and environmental conservation on both national and global scales.
