📅 Field Work Schedule

• Field visits are required every weekend (Friday and Saturday).
• Field data collection period: 24 April to 30 May 2026.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Field Activities

• Participate in coastal field data collection using scientific instruments.
• Conduct sampling in mangrove and coastal environments.
• Assist in handling GEM-in-a-Box equipment and follow field protocols.

Laboratory Work

• Perform laboratory analysis within 36 hours after sampling.
• Assist in measuring water quality parameters such as nutrients, dissolved oxygen, and related indicators.
• Maintain proper documentation and data records.

Data and Research Work

• Support data cleaning, processing, and preliminary analysis.
• Assist in preparing inception reports, final reports, and research papers.

Training

• Two mandatory free training sessions will be provided before fieldwork.
• Training will cover instrument handling, sampling protocols, safety procedures, and field practices.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have a background in Oceanography, Environmental Science, Climate Science, or a related discipline.
• Applicants must have a strong interest in field-based research and coastal ecosystems.
• Willingness to travel outside Dhaka on a regular basis is required.
• Commitment to the full project duration is mandatory.
